Media watchdog to probe X Factor votes
Media watchdog Ofcom is investigation complaints from 'X Factor' fans wHO claim that they could not get through to voting for the show's eventual runner-up Rhydian Bartholomew Roberts.
The Welsh opera vocalist had been favourite to make headway the show but narrowly lost out to Scots stripling Leon Jackson last Saturday night.
Ofcom confirmed that over 700 complaints had been lodged in relation to the telephony ballot for the final exam of the reality show.
A representative for Ofcom said: "They expressed concerns about the mathematical process of the ballot and many said they were struggling to get through."
An 'X Factor' voice yesterday denied any balloting irregularities.
The output company which makes the bear witness, Talkback River Thames, admitted that roughly viewing audience world Health Organization attempted to vote got engaged tones.
The company insisted that this was due to the volume of calls and that the competition was non rigged.
The spokesperson said: "As all numbers go through to the saame lines and voter turnout platform, it is impossible for on that point to be any diagonal in favor or against a detail dissenter."

"We do get a huge surge of calls and depending on telephone set operators or so callers may have experienced an engaged step or net busy message and consequently may feature to predict back, but these calls should not be charged," the interpreter said.
The ITV web site has reportedly been flooded with complaints from fans of the show wHO attempted to vote for Rhydian Bartholomew Roberts only could not draw through.
